Time and time again, I have found that big events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. give homeowners the greatest incentive to update thier environement and decor.  Some of us remodel areas for entertainment while others add a kick of color and some new accessories.  Whichever is the case the following stands true:  Sometimes we need a little incentive or push to get our house in presentable order. 

Your designer is not above that.  While you may thnk your designer lives day to day surrounded by high style, we too let things go until a need arrises to put things together.  I am currently giving my own home it’s needed therapy for my next get together, and you might want to think about that too. 

What is coming up in your life?  Is it a once in a lifetime event worth sharing with all you know, or is it just time to update the overall ok for the quickly approaching Holidays?  Whatever it is, plan it, send out your invitations and set a goal to make your home something you will be excited to share with your friends and family.  Planning a party or simple get together, may be just the pinch in the arm you need to stop putting off  that small or large project you’ve been itching to get underway.

Since most of our desires for change come from some sort of inspiration, it is fitting that we begin this blog series on just that – ‘Inspiration.”

For me, from the moment someone calls and tells me they need help, my road to inspiration is opened. I am always tickled to hear about your space and the problems you are having with it. I love to problem solve and find great and innovative solutions. Some are inspired by a magazine spread, a new showroom display or simply by what they’ve seen at a friend or neighbor’s house. I say that’s a great start! Whatever your inpiration is – run with it. If you see room for change, than there is a fantastic change in store for your room.
